RESOLVED Problem with the dock at the bottom of the screen

I never know which forum to post in.  So I'll start here.  Using latest Salent, new download, 64-bit.

I run an old version of Thunderbird, starting from a script in the Thunderbird directory.  I've successfully used menulibre to create a menu entry so that I can start Tbird from the Applications menu.  But when trying to add it to the dock at the bottom of the screen, Thunderbird doesn't show up in the list of applications to add.

Any thoughts?  Thanks.

See in /usr/share/applications if your Tbird louncher is in, because is there that are all lounchers listed in Styler tool add.
If you don't find there you must create it (thunderbird.desktop and in item "exec=" insert location of your launcher is )
Maybe the name in applications is Icedove ;-)

Re: RESOLVED Problem with the dock at the bottom of the screen

Just a minute ago I figured out how to do this.  I set Thunderbird as my default mailer, then added the exo-mail-reader icon.  Works perfectly.  I was about to post on this.  Thanks so much.
